As per the company’s name it was only a matter of time until Triumph Media Group stepped into the media business. The Hamburg based Business Consulting Agency for Sports and Entertainment has signed an agreement with the French TV production company Mistral Production to become its exclusive media rights distribution partner.
Since 1995 Mistral Production successfully produces a series of active prime-time family entertainment programs. All shows are shot in front of a live audience. Besides France, shows are being broadcasted in China, Russia, South Africa, United Kingdom, Ukraine, Romania and Vietnam. Due to the great success even more countries such as Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, Philippines and Australia already confirmed coverage for end of 2011/2012.
Triumph Media Group is currently in advanced discussions with Portuguese, Spanish, Italian and Korean broadcasters to further expand the coverage of the various game shows. More negotiations are in process with Scandinavian and German broadcasters.
Mistral Production’s formats include “The Biggest Game Show in the World”, “Intercity Junior” and “King of the Mountain”.
“The Biggest Game Show in the World” consists of 6 or 13 episodes x 52 or 90 minutes where teams from different countries compete in 6 different games per show. The games include swimming pool games, conveyor belt, custard pies, turntables etc. The final is called “The Champions Wall”.
“Intercity Junior” is a competition where 2 or 4 teams of children dressed in frogs, mice or chicken amuse the spectators by battling each other in universal games.
Challenges in “King of the Mountain” which is a 6 x 52 minute format include racing balls, ski jeering, “the boat from hell”, “the big curling” as well as the sliding blind test. Either international teams or teams from the same country compete up to the final called “The Ice Wall”.
